Myspace.com has launched its beta site for spanish speaking Latinos in the U.S.!

What does this mean?
  • Myspace is looking to expand globally! Tapping into the fastest growing ethnic group in the U.S. they seem to be taking a step in the right direction.
  • Advertising opportunities!! Zoning into the Latino market is sure to be beneficial for advertisers who are trying their products across to the Latino youth.
  • Myspace is launching into new regions so bringing people together globally under the same social network is a foreseeable goal.

Why target the Latino market in the U.S.? The fact is that Latinos are no longer first generation Americans in the United States; so now with the second and third generations families getting better education, having higher paying jobs and contributing more and more to society, Hispanics carry alot of potential when it comes to the future spending habits of America . Myspace.com has just taken the initiative to make sure their name is known throughout the Hispanic community. Investing time in the fastest growing ethnic group just seems logical.

What will be making news next? Perhaps the expansion of Myspace in China! "Travis Katz, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MySpace International declined to speak about a much anticipated launch into China, where it aims to enter the market with a local partner."
