Well the answer is simple. Local search can be looked at as an online replacement for "Let me check out the phone book for a hardware store near me" type of reference and if you're a local business with or without an online presence now is the right time to get your business on the local search / local listing bandwagon.

Is local search only beneficially for small businesses?
