Since yesterday we discussed spicing up your blog with free Blog Templates; Today we are going to talk about spicing up your blog with Widgets!

What is a widget?

The widgets being referred to in this post are any type of button or "control" that can be added to a webpage and that gives that webpage added usability or adds an enhancement. For example, a button that shows your favorite music artists or that features a cartoon of the day.
