Pointers for your Blog Posts!

What seems to be "effective" with Blog Posts?
Well its pretty simple really; if you have an interesting blog, niche theme and post daily your on the right track already. I can give you a few simple pointers that seem to work for me and friends when posting and attracting readers to our blogs - small details but they seem to make a difference.

Pointers for you Blog Posts are as follows:

• Keep your posts Short! Short and to the point - readers are looking for quick, readable posts!
• Bullet points seem to be the Key instead of paragraphs for stating several points
• Tags! Technorati, Delicious, Flickr etc...
• Social Bookmark Links - Digg, Yahoo, Technorati and more!
• Ping! Make sure you look into several pinging services - Book mark them for future pings.
• If you do mention other peoples sites, shoot over an email and let them know ... perhaps they will return the favor in the future!
• Incorporate a Poll to encourage user interaction
• Participate In Forums - Introduce yourself and your blog

Now if you don't see any difference what so ever then perhaps you need to do a bit more digging and find an audience for you blog. Research where people are online that would be interested in what your blog is about. Join communities, ask friends to critique your work and most of all be patient, it will take time to get readership and visitor loyalty.
