The interesting concept behind the Technorati Charts is that not only do you have an easy visual to see the patterns of how often a keyword is mentioned in other blogs, but also that you can click the charts to get in depth information pertaining to that keyword(s). Its great to get a sense of how terms are being used and becoming mainstream (such as web 2.0, podcast, blogosphere) for publishers or bloggers trying to get a better grasp on term popularity. Technorati has also included a method for you to "blog this chart" as well, instructions are included at the bottom of every chart page along with code.

Hot Tags are also a newbie for Technorati. They decided to let users in on what the hot tags of the hour are at any given point in time. As well as the Top 15 Searches "du jour" to the search page. Both of these additions can easily found right on their homepage, along with a few other cool 'tweaks and fixes'.
