Web 2.0 is a simple catch phrase that serves as a descriptive term which is used when referencing the evolvement of the web world. The main principle behind this concept can be explained as: Web 2.0 refers to services which automatically improve with the increased number of users; by incorporating user contributions and involvement the web has found a method to better improve itself. Napster on the other hand, was able to take a different twist on this same concept, their audience was utilized as 'mini servers'. Napsters down loaders also became their resource point, that is until legal complications took over. Either way both of these sites grew emensely and their popularity is able to be hooked back to user interaction.
